I had a couple of requests to update my DPS parsing client/server to support the new combat messages on Bullroarer. The new messages seem to parse much more reliably with much less code, almost like they were designed to be nice 😛 (Well they could be nicer in terms of parse-ability, there is still potential ambiguity, but unlikely…)
I’ve uploaded a new version and it is available from the same link as before on the ‘My Software/LOTRO Software’ page. New to this version is a requirement to enter your character’s name into the settings. This is because the log messages no longer use ‘You’. Because of this requirement, the settings page now automatically opens on start.
At some point I will probably upgrade LOTROChatNarrator as well, but I’ve not had any reason to use its damage parsing functionality recently, so it probably won’t be in a hurry.
